A fun, inclusive wheelchair basketball
tournament that raises funds for a
HOOPFEST is our largest
annual fundraiser and has
been going since 1994.

cause - HOOPS for HELP!
12 teams will compete in a fun round robin
wheelchair basketball mini-tournament with the
ﬁnal two winning teams competing for the title of
HOOPFEST Champion. We supply the
wheelchairs and much much more!
BCWBS athletes will showcase their skills and set the tone
right before the tournament with an exciting demonstration
wheelchair basketball game. National team alumni, BC
athletes, and a few decorated Paralympians will also provide
coaching for each team.

participation including developmental, recreational,
competitive, and elite.
HOOPFEST helps us promote awareness about
wheelchair basketball, the athletes involved, and
showcases the abilities of people with disabilities.
